2021’s Celebrity Beauty Boom

2021’s Celebrity Beauty Boom

It was a BIG year for product launches. (Our online shopping history can certainly attest to that…) Especially those of the celebrity-backed variety.

Pop sensation Harry Styles graced us with a vegan beauty brand. Reality star Kylie Jenner debuted a baby care line. Even Megan Fox’s beau, musician Machine Gun Kelly, dropped a range. Can you guess what it is? Here are the top celebrity launches of 2021.

Ariana Grande

It was a busy year for Ari. She released her latest album, AG7. And she tied the knot! In between all of that, she found the time to release a beauty brand and a new fragrance. And don’t worry—they’re both vegan and cruelty-free. (If you ever aspired to smell like Ariana Grande, now’s your chance.)

Harry Styles

This former One Direction-er knows a thing or two about style. No, he didn’t launch a clothing line. (Fingers crossed he does next year.) But he did release a vegan beauty brand that perfectly encapsulates his colorful and edgy fashion sense. Called Pleasing, the line features a number of Insta-worthy products. From 12-free nail polish, complete with compostable packaging, to moisturizing serums, you’re definitely going to want to snag each one.

The youngest Jenner was all over product drops this year. Jenner, who’s expecting her second child, launched vegan baby line Kylie Baby. It carries shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath soap, and moisturizing lotion. The social media sensation also gave Kylie Cosmetics a vegan makeover, relaunching the line to be completely free of animal products. Lip kits, anyone?

Rihanna

Grande wasn’t the only celeb to launch a perfume this year. RiRi dropped one too, and it smells magical. Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, which helped make her a billionaire, debuted its first fragrance. The unisex perfume is packaged in a brown bottle, and features a fruity and floral scent. According to the brand, its scent is “raw, sensual, spicy, and sweet all at once.”
